Terms of use

Welcome to Bygone. These are the rules for playing here. They are the same terms the app shows you before you choose your player name.

  1. Be kind. No harassment, threats, hate, or bullying, whether in your player name, in chat, or in the reactions you send during a game.
  2. Keep it clean. Player names, messages, and reactions must not be sexual, violent, hateful, or illegal, and must not pretend to be someone else, including a game master.
  3. Play fair. No cheating, no throwing games, and no trading wins, rating, or coins between accounts.
  4. Coins are just for playing. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refundable.
  5. You can report and block. Report a player from their profile card, or a message by pressing and holding it. Blocking a player stops them from challenging you, messaging you, or sending you a friend request.
  6. Game masters look at every report. Breaking these rules can get you a warning, or a ban from online play for a few days or for good.
  7. Chat has a few rules of its own, which you will see before your first message.
  8. These terms may change. If they do, we will show them to you again before you play.
